And the long awaited Hull flipping time finally arrived!!
I was expecting this day for weeks now. Today we will flip the hull to start working on the inside of the boat.
Flipping the hull is always a tricky operation where any mistake could ruin hundreds of hours of work. With 6.50 meters, The mini is relatively short but the 3.0 meters beam makes it a large piece to handle especially when no ceiling cranes are available.
At that stage we estimate the weight are arround 200kgs so we decide to do it manually with juste 1 holding point at the front attached to the sousbarde hole, one skate in the center to hold the weight, and a few pairs of harms at the back.
As you an see it was smooth and easy...
Well done EQUATION COMPOSITE CREW!!
